High class, creative food in a small restaurant in the village of Boylestone, about 15 minutes away. Great tasting menus. We like it very much, but it is special occasion dining. Booking is recommended.

A pub we often visit after a walk. It is in the village of Fenny Bentley (on the Buxton road 2 miles out of Ashbourne). Nice ambience and good food.

This is our nearest pub. It is in the village of Osmaston just half mile away. It serves traditional pub grub at reasonable prices. It is a good pub in a lovely village setting – worth a visit. Very nice garden to sit out in during the summer.
